Project “Supporting Automatic Recognition of Qualifications at Higher Education Institutions” (Support-AR)

In terms of Erasmus+ Programme KA3 “Support for Policy Reform”, Academic Information Centre – Latvian ENIC/NARIC implements project “Supporting Automatic Recognition of Qualifications at Higher Education Institutions” (Support-AR).

Project implementation period: 1 August 2025 – 31 July 2027

Aim: To facilitate the practical implementation of automatic recognition of qualifications at HEIs by fostering their understanding of and trust in the principles of the automatic recognition of qualifications.

Main objectives:

  • To examine the needs and understanding of HEIs regarding the principles of automatic recognition and practical implementation of automatic recognition of qualifications in the project partner countries.
  • To develop proposals for the content plan of training courses for HEIs on the principles of automatic recognition of higher and upper secondary education qualifications based on the research.
  • To strengthen dialogue between ENIC/NARIC offices and HEIs about the trainings and informative support necessary on mutual automatic recognition to facilitate the availability and implementation of these practices and services at HEIs.

 

Project activities:

  • To investigate the needs and understanding of HEIs regarding the principles of automatic recognition and practical implementation of automatic recognition of qualifications in the project partner countries.
  • To develop proposals for the content plan of training courses for HEIs on the principles of automatic recognition of higher and upper secondary education qualifications.
  • To strengthen the dialogue between HEIs and ENICS, NARICs offices about the trainings and informative support necessary on mutual automatic recognition to facilitate the availability and implementation of these practices and services at HEIs (peer-learning activities and national workshops).
