Europass documents provide an opportunity to present one’s competencies and experience in a clear and easily understandable format to employers and education sector representatives across the European Union. The goal of Europass is to promote the mobility of EU citizens within Europe for education and employment purposes.
Since 2008, the Academic Information Centre has functioned as the National Coordination Point (NCP) for the alignment of the national qualifications framework with the EQF. The NCP provides support for the integration of Latvian educational qualifications into the EQF and offers information on the alignment process.
